# SMS Messaging Terms

Effective October 13, 2026

## What this covers

These terms cover the text messages Tidy sends to a phone number you added: reminders, notifications you set up, alerts, and messages from automations and virtual employees you configured. Tidy does not send marketing texts.

## Who texts you

Texts come from Tidy at +1 475-234-1860.

## Consent

You turn texts on in Settings: you agree to receive them, add your number, and verify it. Tidy records when you agreed.

If you build an automation that texts other people, you must have their consent before Tidy sends them anything, and you must honor their requests to stop.

## How often

How many texts you get depends on what you set up; message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

## Stopping texts and getting help

- **Reply STOP** to stop all texts from Tidy. You get one text confirming it.
- **Reply START** to turn them back on.
- **Reply HELP** for help.
- **Or turn texts off in Settings.**

## Where texts work

Texts are available for US mobile numbers only.

## Quiet hours and delivery

Routine notifications follow your quiet hours, if you set them. Urgent reminders and messages you exempt can still come through. Delivery depends on carriers, and a failed send may be retried.

## Your number

We use your number only to send the texts you asked for. We don’t sell it or share it for anyone else’s marketing. When you remove it or delete your account, we delete it, except that a number which replied STOP stays on our opt-out list so we never text it again. Our SMS provider, Telnyx, keeps its own records of messages it delivered for its legal and billing needs.
